Every entry into the competition is assigned a random ticket number. On draw day we use Google’s random number generator to randomly draw a ticket number. If you have that ticket number, you win! It’s that simple. You’ll be contacted directly if you win.

Nope, not at all! There’s no requirement to watch the live draw to win, you just need a ticket. We contact all winners by email after the draw to inform them of what they’ve won, explain delivery, and ask them for any extra details we might need.

Unlike other competition websites, we always draw a winner regardless of whether the competition sells or not. That’s the Gigahertz promise. If a competition hasn’t sold out, this means you have better odds of winning!

Entry Lists contain all the valid entrants into the competition (and only those who answered the competition’s question correctly) and are used to draw the final winner. We publish Entry Lists once the competition has closed.

If there are any changes to this schedule they will be posted on our socials and you’ll be informed by email.

This varies between competitions. If the competition is a first for us, we typically stock the item ourselves so we can assess the quality and photograph the product. And if the product is highly sought-after at the time, we’ll make sure to buy and stock the item ourselves so we can ensure the winner doesn’t miss out. For larger items like TVs or big gaming monitors, we often don’t stock these ourselves and instead order them directly from a retailer to the winner’s address. This is because parcel delivery services are frequently reluctant to insure prizes like this, so ordering from a retailer provides better protection for the winner in case anything goes wrong during shipping.

In the case of instant wins, these are ordered directly to the winner from a retailer with occasional exceptions where we have the product in stock and will ship it out to you.

Instant wins are prizes you can win just by entering!

Not all competitions have instant wins. For competitions with instant wins, the Prize Description will list a table of ticket numbers and their associated instant wins.

After entering the competition, if one of your ticket numbers matches an instant win you’ll automatically receive a congratulatory email. This email will inform you what prize you’ve won and how to claim it. You’ll have 5 days after receiving the email to claim your instant win.

No. Any instant wins that aren’t won within the timeframe of the competition go unclaimed.

No! Your ticket is still valid. When choosing a winner, we always enter the full range of tickets into the random number generator. If we draw a ticket that hasn’t been sold, we roll again until we find a winner! The parameters of the draw never change.

For example, if a competition has 400 total tickets and only 300 have sold, the range entered into the random number generator will still be tickets 1 to 400. The parameters don’t change if the competition hasn’t sold out.

Gigapoints is our points reward system for spending money on the website. For every £1 that you spend on the site, 50 Gigapoints will be awarded to your account. These points can be used at checkout for a discount off your next purchase. All Gigapoints expire after 3 months if not used.
