Yes. Gigahertz Giveaways is a signatory to the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators, and we’re also a member of the Prize Competitions Council (PCC), the trade body representing the UK’s online prize competition market. Here’s a summary of how we meet the Code’s requirements:

Player protections

All entrants must be 18 or over, resident in the UK, and hold a registered account.

You can set daily, weekly, monthly or yearly spend limits, or lock your account entirely, at any time via /my-account/responsible-gaming.

Our support team monitors player activity for signs of harm and will proactively reach out — including temporarily locking an account and carrying out a welfare check — where needed.

Support and signposting information is available in the footer of every page on our site.

All competitions run for a minimum of 7 days (up to 14 for larger competitions), and instant-win competitions never make up the majority of our live competitions.

Transparency

Every competition offers an equal free postal entry route, displayed prominently alongside the paid entry option on each competition page.

Winners are selected using Zap RNG, a certified random number generator producing verifiably random, independently auditable results — see How are winners chosen? for full details.

We never cancel, delay or downgrade a competition due to low ticket sales.

We support a chosen charity each year (currently the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund), donating a fixed amount per main-prize PC competition drawn.

Accountability

We review our compliance with the Code internally on a regular basis.

We work with reputable, sector-specialist partners for our draw platform and payments, and expect the same standards of them.

We engage with the wider industry through our PCC membership, and remain in contact with the DCMS Prize Draws Team to support the ongoing development of the Code.
